Tales of City x Project Otenga

Be a Rasik was an evening of collective resonance, held at CoCoLab on 5th July. Musicians from Leh, Goa, Varanasi, Punjab, and Mumbai gathered to tune into the multivaried frequencies of the Mohan Veena, Dramyen, Erhu, Rabab, Sarod, Noori, and Tabla. We often expect an event centred around music to be a soliloquy, a performance, but rarely do we find spaces which harbour a musical dialogue between artists and listeners. A freestyle tasting experience followed the rhythm of the evening, while guests were invited to contribute their own creative elements—art, movement, or stillness. Together, we honoured slowness, deep listening, and the act of coming together.
