Pet Pataaka
This was a community cooking event based on the culture and traditions of Diwali. Participants were encouraged to relive the past to shed light on the present and future with a workshop on creating personalised packaging based on memories, a sweet-making session, and an experience-sharing discussion on the future of festive food.
Food traditions are passed on from generation to generation. Traditions, rituals, behaviours and practices are entwined with what we call as culture which again keep changing with the environment. This knowledge can only be kept alive if it is practiced.
